ISAM Capabilities Survey

This survey seeks to understand the UK’s in-space servicing, assembly and manufacturing (ISAM) capabilities

It has been commissioned by the UK Space Agency as the primary source of evidence to support the UK Government’s understanding of ISAM.

It is being conducted by Growbotics, and is open from 5th August to 23rd August 2024.

This is your opportunity to influence the UK government

Your answers to this survey will directly feed into policy-making decisions at the UK Space Agency and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.

It is open to all ISAM organisations

Any organisation engaged in ISAM activities is encouraged to respond. This includes companies working on orbital transport, re-supply, in-orbit manufacturing, active debris removal, salvage, refuelling, repair, and other activities.

Do not provide confidential information

Your response may be included in publicly accessible reports and websites. Please do not provide any commercially sensitive or confidential information other than your personal details. Your personal details will not be shared publicly.

What ISAM-related projects has your company recently been involved in?

For each ISAM project/product that you’ve worked on in the last 12 months, please provide the following information:

  1. Name
  2. Description – a brief summary of the project and its objectives, how it is furthering UK ISAM capabilities, and which markets you’re targeting
  3. Technologies – the core technologies and TRL levels
  4. Applications – the ISAM applications related to the project/product
  5. Partners – the organisations you have worked with
  6. Funding sources and amounts – the sources of funding for the project and the amounts received
  7. Status – whether the project is completed, ongoing, planned, cancelled etc.
